Dr. Kaichun Wu is a professor and the Deputy Chair of Xijing Hospital of Digestive Diseases, the Fourth Military Medical University. He received his MD & PhD degrees from the Fourth Military Medical University and post-doc training in Nottingham University (UK). He got his research experience in Oxford University(UK), and Northwestern University(USA). He serves as Vice-President of Chinese Medical Doctors Association Branch of Gastroenterology, Treasurer of the World Gastroenterology Organisation(WGO) and Vice President of Asia Pacific Association of Gastroenterology(APAGE). Professor Wu has published more than 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals like Gastroenterology, Hepatology, J Hepatol, Oncogene, J Immunol, FASEB J, Carcinogenesis, Mol Cancer Res, etc. His research work on gastric cancer has received State First Class Award for Science and Technology in China.
